Hartley’s Crocodile Adventures is located on the Captain Cook Highway between Cairns and Port Douglas at Wangetti.

Hartley’s is approximately 40 minutes drive north of Cairns, 15 minutes north of Palm Cove and 25 minutes south of Port Douglas.
This spectacular route is now known as The Great Barrier Reef Drive and is surrounded by the UNESCO listed Wet Tropics World Heritage Area.

From Cairns
Hartley’s Crocodile Adventures is about 37 km from Cairns CBD with an average drive time of 40 minutes.
Drive north on the Captain Cook Highway, Route 44 thru Ellis Beach to Wangetti. Look for the Hartley’s directional sign 2km from the intersection. Cross Tin Creek then turn left on Quaid Road. (Look for the brown &white road sign.) Within 100m, turn left on to Harry Freeman Drive and enter carpark.
From Palm Cove
Hartley’s Crocodile Adventures is 14 km from Palm Cove with an average drive time of 15 minutes.
Drive north on the Captain Cook Highway, Route 44 thru Ellis Beach to Wangetti. Look for the Hartley’s directional sign 2km from the intersection. Cross Tin Creek then turn left on Quaid Road. (Look for the brown &white road sign.) Within 100m, turn left on to Harry Freeman Drive and enter carpark.
From Port Douglas
Hartley’s Crocodile Adventures is 23 km from Port Douglas with an average drive time of 25 minutes.
Drive south on the Captain Cook Highway, Route 44 to Wangetti. Drive past Rex Lookout, cross Hartley’s Creek, then turn right on Quaid Road. (Look for the brown &white road sign.) Within 100m, turn left on to Harry Freeman Drive and enter carpark.
